Any personal information provided to MAGBLOX® is maintained and accessible only to a select group of MAGBLOX® staff. The kinds of personal information we hold about you

We only hold information about you if it is relevant to your participation in MAGBLOX®'s initiative. Generally, information we hold will include your name, contact details (including postal address, email address, and mobile telephone number), job title, education and care service centre details, payment details, account number, records of correspondence, records of workshop attendance and billing statements.

We do not hold sensitive information about you such as information about your race or ethnic origins, political or religious beliefs or health.

Access is given only to employees who must use the personal information for the reason for which it was obtained. Our staff follow strict information handling procedures, and only those whose tasks require use of your information are able to access it. We delete your personal information securely once it is no longer needed or required to be retained by law.

MAGBLOX® transactions

When you shop at our online store, we will ask you to provide us with the information we need to process your order and/or to acknowledge your need. Your credit card information will be used only as needed to process your transaction. To protect your privacy, MAGBLOX® does not store or save your credit card information, nor do we permit any vendor that processes our transactions to do so. When you make a booking online, you will be entered into our database. MAGBLOX® never shares with third parties any personally identifiable information you provide when purchasing anything from us, whether online, in person, or on the telephone except as required by law.

1. Collection and Consent for SMS Marketing

When you provide your mobile telephone number at checkout, through a sign-up form, or when creating an account, you may be presented with an unchecked opt-in box asking for your explicit consent to receive automated SMS marketing messages from MAGBLOX®. You are not required to provide consent as a condition of purchase. If you do not provide consent, you will not receive SMS marketing messages from us, and this will not affect your ability to shop on our website.

Message frequency may vary depending on active campaigns. Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier and plan. MAGBLOX® is not responsible for any fees, charges, or taxes imposed by your mobile service provider.

5. Sharing of Telephone Numbers

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile telephone number with third parties for their own marketing purposes without your separate explicit consent. We may share your mobile number with trusted third-party service providers (such as SMS gateway platforms or email/SMS marketing software) solely for the purpose of delivering our SMS marketing messages. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and may only use it to perform services on our behalf.

6. Data Security for SMS Information

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your mobile number and SMS consent preferences from unauthorised access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

7. Retention of SMS Consent Records

If you fail to do so, you may continue to receive SMS messages intended for the previous owner of that number. You agree to indemnify MAGBLOX® against any claims arising from your failure to notify us of a number change.
