MAGBLOX® is committed to protecting the privacy of its online guests and customers. We understand that maintaining privacy on our website is important, as is being transparent about the types of information we collect and how we use that information. How we collect your personal information

We primarily collect your personal information directly from you through correspondence that we engage in with you, for example, online forms, workshop participation forms, telephone conversations, emails and online transactions such as purchases, registrations, and reservations. We may also collect your mobile telephone number when you provide it at checkout, when you create an account, or when you sign up to receive SMS marketing communications via an explicit opt-in checkbox. Any personal information provided to MAGBLOX® is maintained and accessible only to a select group of MAGBLOX® staff. MAGBLOX® has appropriate security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that we have collected from you at our site.


The kinds of personal information we hold about you

We only hold information about you if it is relevant to your participation in MAGBLOX®'s initiative. Generally, information we hold will include your name, contact details (including postal address, email address, and mobile telephone number), job title, education and care service centre details, payment details, account number, records of correspondence, records of workshop attendance and billing statements.

We do not hold sensitive information about you such as information about your race or ethnic origins, political or religious beliefs or health.


Privacy Practice

We use our best efforts to protect the privacy of our customers' personal information. Access is given only to employees who must use the personal information for the reason for which it was obtained. Measures are in place to ensure the integrity and accuracy of the information we have. The information we collect online is used solely for contact with the individual who has given us their personal information. We do not share, lend, or sell any personal information (including mobile telephone numbers) to other individuals or organisations for their own commercial marketing purposes. MAGBLOX® uses the personal information you provide to us for internal purposes only. We are strongly committed to protecting the privacy of our online guests and customers. MAGBLOX® is committed to protecting your privacy when you visit our website, shop at our online store, or use our website, including to register for our workshops, book a birthday party, or conduct any other transaction.


How we hold your personal information

Depending on the circumstances, we may hold your information either in hard copy or electronic form, or both. Generally, we keep hard copies of all correspondence that we enter into and maintain details about participants in an electronic database.

We hold all hard copy and electronic records of personal information in a secure manner to ensure that they are protected from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Our employees and agents are obliged to treat any personal information confidentially.

Our staff follow strict information handling procedures, and only those whose tasks require use of your information are able to access it. We delete your personal information securely once it is no longer needed or required to be retained by law.

Our security measures are designed to prevent your personal information from being accessed by unauthorised personnel, lost or misused. MAGBLOX® transactions

When you shop at our online store, we will ask you to provide us with the information we need to process your order and/or to acknowledge your need. This information may include your name, billing and shipping addresses, mobile telephone number, e-mail address, and credit card information. Your credit card information will be used only as needed to process your transaction. To protect your privacy, MAGBLOX® does not store or save your credit card information, nor do we permit any vendor that processes our transactions to do so. When you make a booking online, you will be entered into our database. MAGBLOX® never shares with third parties any personally identifiable information you provide when purchasing anything from us, whether online, in person, or on the telephone except as required by law.


SMS Marketing & Telephone Numbers (NEW SECTION)

1. Collection and Consent for SMS Marketing

When you provide your mobile telephone number at checkout, through a sign-up form, or when creating an account, you may be presented with an unchecked opt-in box asking for your explicit consent to receive automated SMS marketing messages from MAGBLOX®. You are not required to provide consent as a condition of purchase. If you do not provide consent, you will not receive SMS marketing messages from us, and this will not affect your ability to shop on our website.

2. Types of SMS Messages We May Send

With your explicit consent, we may send you automated text messages regarding:

  • Promotions, discounts, and special offers

  • New product launches

3. How to Withdraw Consent (Opt-Out)

After you reply STOP, you will receive a single confirmation message confirming your unsubscription. No further marketing SMS messages will be sent to your number unless you provide new, separate consent in the future.

4. Message Frequency and Mobile Carrier Rates

Message frequency may vary depending on active campaigns. Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier and plan. MAGBLOX® is not responsible for any fees, charges, or taxes imposed by your mobile service provider.

5. Sharing of Telephone Numbers

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile telephone number with third parties for their own marketing purposes without your separate explicit consent. We may share your mobile number with trusted third-party service providers (such as SMS gateway platforms or email/SMS marketing software) solely for the purpose of delivering our SMS marketing messages. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and may only use it to perform services on our behalf.

6. Data Security for SMS Information

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your mobile number and SMS consent preferences from unauthorised access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

7. Retention of SMS Consent Records

We will retain a record of your SMS consent (including your mobile number, the date and time of consent, and any opt-out requests) for as long as you remain subscribed, and for a reasonable period thereafter as required to comply with legal obligations (for example, to honour your opt-out request).

8. Your Responsibility to Notify Us of Number Changes

You agree to notify us immediately if you change your mobile telephone number (by updating your account information or contacting us at sales@magblox.com.au). If you fail to do so, you may continue to receive SMS messages intended for the previous owner of that number. You agree to indemnify MAGBLOX® against any claims arising from your failure to notify us of a number change.
